Short Wednesday Reading… Maximize Variety and Color
I love annual flower combinations. It may be an indication that I can never make up my mind or hate committing to just one thing (both of these are true) but I believe that combining annuals gives you the best of everything.
You can have tall with trailing, colorful coleus with bright impatiens, or anything you please in a rainbow of colors. All you need to know is a few basic details to make sure you have the right plant for your container or bed then choose similar plants that like either sun or shade depending on you needs and make sure you know how much (or little) water they will need.
These are my favorite matches; subject to change of course!
Better Homes and Gardens has some great combination suggestions of easy to grow and care for varieties that so well in southern yards as well
